Well to be honest, what can you do when people act like that? It’s part of their personality and if people had a bad experience with one culture they will generalize. It’s too bad your friend couldn’t enjoy Indian food too. It’s the bomb.

I stay in university campus and a few of my housemates are Indians. I really love Indian food and we enjoy watching Bollywood movies when we are free. It’s really sad that the immaturity sparks the issue of racist, it could be lack of culture understanding.

I’m a person with very matured thinking, nor can I tolerate immature people. Maybe it takes time for her to understand differences, but it’s a really harsh comment with the use of term,”I don’t trust…”. It’s great that you are able keep calm in such situation,it really shows your maturity.

I agree with you. I’m 20 and everyone always thinks that I’m in my late twenties or early 30′s. I had to grow up fast because my grandmother/guardian passed away when I was 16

However, I hate when people act immature too. Sometimes I just turn the other way and go on about my business. Most of the time their childish ways gets me angry, very angry in fact. So sorry for your frustrating experience, I know how that can turn out

That looks good on you! I wish I could cut my hair as well (as I would like to have a similar fringe on me) but I don’t know if that style would look good on me and if I fear that I could never do it right.

Sometimes dieting can only do so much with weight loss. I think signing up for gym membership is a good idea! Working out 5 to 6 times a week has done wonders for me!

I can totally relate to your weight loss problem. Every time I tell myself “no more excuses” and I always come up with some. I have to find my motivation. I think I have but it is such a struggle.

Filipinos call that dish “Arroz Caldo.” My mom prepares that dish nearly the same way you’ve prepared it. It’s delicious! It’s too bad I can’t eat it because I need to stay away from rice for awhile. -sigh-
